The Dom Tower (Domtoren) is located at Domplein in the middle of the old city. It’s the tallest church tower in the Netherlands, but unfortunately it’s wrapped in scaffolding and plastic at the moment due to extensive restoration works.
If you arrive at Utrecht Centraal train station: follow the signs to ‘centrum’, exit the station and when facing shopping mall Hoog Catharijne, turn right. Take the escalator down to street level and follow the green walkway. Turn left at the red bike path (watch out!). Keep walking past all the bicycles and you’ll see the Dom Tower ahead of you, easy to get there now!
If you come by car: parking garage Springweg is closest but also expensive, the Hoog Catharijne garages at Spoorstraat are cheaper and still within 10 minutes walk.
Coming from the train station or the car parks, find us at the opposite side of the tower. Your guide is wearing a red Free Tours sweater and carries a sign!
If you’re late, you’ll probably find us somewhere at the square still.
